Stabilizing gimbal for iPhone/iPad and editing software?

I'm am looking for recommendations on a gimbal to use for making videos. I'm wanting one that is hand held but also has tripod legs.

This is for a nonprofit that I work for so the best value is needed.

Also looking for recommendations for editing software/app for iPad or Windows 10 that a beginner can use to get started with primarily for YouTube.

Shotcut works pretty good for me editing wise. https://www.shotcut.org/ It's free so you can't beat the price, it's also open source so if it is useful and you kick them a couple bucks it would be a good thing. And it works on pretty much any computer. However editing video requires some horsepower especially when you start messing with higher resolutions. I had to deal with some 2560X1440 at 60FPS (2K resolution) and even with an overclocked Ryzen 1600 rendering the video is basically a deal where if the video is an hour long expect it to take an hour to render. You will want a decent amount of free swap space and at least 16GB of ram. This does depend on the resolution but if you are wanting to put something out with decent quality it needs to be at least 720p and 1080p is what a lot of people expect, if you want to do 4K more than likely the computer you are thinking about just won't be able to cope. I would do 4K on mine with a cpu upgrade but even 2K at 60FPS is pushing it sometimes. When I import video clips that are 20 or 30 mins long I basically have to just let it sit for a bit before working on anything.

Gimbal, well the sky is the limit on those but https://amzn.to/2XNsbYG is supposed to be pretty good for the price so probably going to be your best bet.

I know nothing about making videos but I have looked around a little and I have been finding good reviews for that same gimbal, and recommended it for them.

I also found out about the iMovie app that is available for editing. I haven't heard of the Shortcut software so I'll check it out.
