Stocks took a dump today- double dip or depression?

The anal-systs are saying that no government in the world can do anything about what has become a global recession, we may in fact be in a full-blown depression with no real ideas on how to get out of it. Is this a sign of an impending move to a one-world government? What do you guys think?

If you're playing long then I'd wait a little bit to buy. There's still plenty of room left to fall. If you're playing short on the other hand...now is probably a pretty good time to buy stock in items usually purchased with discretionary income.
