The interesting thing to me, they also said part of the drop is because a lot more people just gave up and stopped looking for a job.

This is what I call The Obama "magic job eraser". It helps him keep the numbers down.

Best advise so far.
Wait for the bottom, and maybe wait for a 2-3% rebound - then buy.
...You'll still be buying near the bottom, but not GUESSING where the bottom is....

I bought some BP and MO when the DOW was down about 315 and then took a loss when the DOW went down over 500. Who Knows?
