There weren't hordes of feral welfare dependents running loose during the 1930s. Gonna be a whole different show this go-round.

And there was more land to grow produce on and the population was far less than today. Plus people were taking care of themselves. Today if someone doesn't have breakfast, they depend upon the government to provide it and the day's wants.
