Wow, Mac, that is heartbreaking. I am glad she is not in the condition she led you to believe, but I am really sad she felt the need to pretend such things. Do you know from her mom, did she REALLY have a recurrence of her brain tumor and was she really undergoing repeat chemotherapy?
Yeah, I do believe the brain cancer returned. She was literally heartbroken and teary-eyed when she told me. I think she was just milking the recovery period....or did she even have the first tumor?
Mac, make sure you check the status of your 'valuables'. Hopefully they are all still in your possession.
As far as valuables, I've given her a credit card (up to $15k or more) many times over the past year to get groceries and stuff for us, so I had no reason to not trust her.
The sad thing is, I didn't expect her to show up here immediately after treatments ended anyway. I've known a few folks that had chemo, and it's a draining experience at best, both physically and psychologically.
I'm just literally blown away by her actions.
