I spent 10 m watching it when some cholos w machine guns were about to attack a man and a woman in a building, but for the life of me I had no idea who magnum was. And that crappy “hand held” camera effect. Hate it.
Eff the new world order. I want action heros.

I watched Magnum again yesterday it was a little better.

Yeah, the second episode was better. Wasn't expecting Rick to be as much of a hand-to-hand badass as he turned out to be. That's a definite change from the original.

Pilot episodes are hard to judge, as they're usually too busy getting characters introduced to do anything substantial. Gotta give it at least four episodes to get a feel for it...

The third episode was another improvement. I could live without the shaky-cam footage, and they could use less incidental music, but, over all, it's getting better.

BTW, did anyone else notice that the title of the pilot episode was I Saw the Sun Rise?
