Mossberg shotguns are ok.
Its just their high-power rifles that have problems.
The shotguns used to come in 2 models. One has 2 action slide bars to the bolt(like an 870 rem), the other(cheaper) has only 1 bar.
In serious shooting matches people tend to twist the slide as they pump it. resulting in the single action bar breaking.
