I don't know about the rest of 'em, but I think I'm dialed in to what George has against him....especially after reading George's posts over on the History Channel forum.

George is the typical, loud mouthed "I do cool sh$t, and I do it better than you" kinda guy. The fact they often don't do it better is lost on them. The military is rife with those types. They puff themselves up by putting others down.

George absolutely can't stand that Jamie doesn't talk about what he does, and it quietly eats him up that Jamie might have a cooler job than him.

This and I also think that George is just very immature.

I would however like to know EXACTLY what HIS job is? He made a statement during the 1000yd competition that "he's used to firing that weapon in combat". I admit I don't know anything at all about AF jobs, so maybe I'm just ignorant, but I'd like to hear the specifics if he's going to mouth off about it.

This right here^^^^^^!!!!! I couldn't have said it better!!! Go to Ft. Bragg, and mingle around the JFK special warfare area, you'll be hard pressed to find any George's there!! There might be a few at the front gate suffering from a sever a$$ whooping!

They didn't get the term "quiet professionals" for no reason.

I think George is a douche in a funny douche kinda way. I really like it now that I've gotten used to it. I hope he sticks around just to antagonize Jamie. Then I hope Brian beats him to win the show.

Those types are fun to have around...I like to poke sticks at 'em and watch them get riled up.

He still gets some credit for being on active duty in a deployment heavy specialty...he's just got some growing up to do.

Also, though his title on the show's website and during the show says he is a Rescue Swimmer, he also attended the "Anti-Terrorism Force Protection/Deadly Force Training" is a "Operations Specialist," trained in "Low-light Shooting" and "was hand-selected for personal security details in high-threat areas."

I admit I do not know what that entails but I imagine there is a heck of a lot going on behind that. I like that he doesn't show his hand, so to speak. I wouldn't want to mess with that guy!

Also, any chance this makes him a SEAL without disclosing he is a SEAL? I mean it sounds like he is well trained to do the VBSS the SEALS have been doing in Middle East and South Asia. He also lived in San Diego, which is where a lot of the SEAL teams are located (though there IS a ton of Navy and Marine stuff in Coronado). Just speculation on my part.

Nope. He openly admits that he attempted BUD/S twice...first time he washed out for injury and the second time he self eliminated. At least he went back and gave it another shot.

He says he was offered Rescue Swimmer School after leaving BUD/S....IIRC he is a Surface Rescue Swimmer, which is not a full time gig, it's an additional duty to his regular duties as an Operations Specialist (radio/telephone operator, command and control system updating etc...)

he is a tool but there are WAY bigger tools in the toolbox. he is a good shot and he should be proud of himself but his head is pumped up a little too much. It doesnt bother me though b/c (like someone said) the show would be boring w/o such characters.
