I would think they would want LE there to check serial # for stolen firearms? Guess not. Serial # aren't even being recorded on the receipts or anywhere else? Crazy.

It’s a sketchy part of town in little Mexico off of Garnett and 21st. Had to go into the supermercado parking lot and there were about 20 Antigun volunteers. I was literally the first person there and there was no line at all. No opposing signs offering more money. No cops present. Just a bunch of old liberal white people that would fit in really well in Portland or Seattle.

I circled the lot once to make sure there was no LEO. And no, not because I had anything illegal or did anything wrong, but because I didn’t want some record by the government of me being there

My understanding is the buyback guns have to be destroyed. If they just took them to the scrap yard intact most would sprout legs and climb into lunch boxes and coat pockets.

Specialists have to handle the destruction and the know destruction means cutting up the frame. Everything else is salvageable and gets marketed by outfits like “any gun part . Com”.

Transplants from one gun can fix multiple guns.

Net result is the total number of functional guns in circulation increases and the purse of the anti gun crowd shrinks.
