I am looking to compete this weekend (last minute thing)and was curious as to if a light is accepted as a "compensator" because I have one holster so far and its a custom kydex to fit my light.

Apparently there is a match at Okc gun club on Saturday
Just show up and ask Matt or John what division to shoot. I'm 90% sure they will let you shoot with the light in Open or Limited, if you can pop the light off and the gun is secure without it in the holster that would be better and you can play in whatever division the gun fits into otherwise, but I still recommend a full capacity magazine division for newbys. You need a way to carry about 50 rounds of ammo in magazines. Listen to the new shooter briefing, be safe, and have fun.
