Ya know if you install a plastic bib in the barrel bung and lay it on a barrel rack you will not have to worry about decanting the water out. No siphon hose, just turn the tap and you have water.

This is what I want to do. I have the plans around here somewhere for a rack that holds two barrels, turned on their sides and stacked. Then "tied" together with tubing. There is a slight tip to the front (I mean very slight) in the shelving. You slide your barrels in, hook up the tubing, and fill from the top. I've seen similar racks that were made of metal for sale. The company sold them for either two barrels stacked or three. Of course, the 3-barrel one was a bit more expensive but neither were cost-prohibitive. Also sold the stuff to connect the barrels together so water would flow from the top barrel to the bottom one without you having to do anything.
