I haven't done any waterfowl hunting in a while. I was wondering if there is any input as to which load is more efective: the remington HD, or the Kent tungsten matrix.

Remington steel shells tend to not pattern very well. Check out duckhuntingchat.com. Lots of good info on that sight about waterfowl hunting.

I have loaded steel shot for years. Used BPI components and did well on ducks and geese. Been away from it for about four years now, and the notox technology has really improved. Probably no longer need my 10 ga BPS, though it's a real sweet shooter. Have an 870 Trap B that was my waterfowl gun with lead, and it is the 12 ga I shoot better than any shotgun I have ever owned. Looking forward to getting it out with some of the new loads. Anybody want a deal on a bunch of steel shot and other components? CB
