It always amazes me the types of places spammers choose. Who in their right mind would think members of a gun forum in the middle of the Bible belt would be interested in beauty supplies. I mean, there have to more efficient places to spam, right?

That said, I did buy twelve gallons of nail polish. I'm not proud, but this is my life…

It's not about the 'where' their spam gets posted. It's about feeding the search engines. Their posts get indexed on Google, Bing etc. More references to their web sites = higher rankings in search engines.

I'm a moderator on a very busy RC plane web site. We have the same garbage but 30 times more of it. My job is spam hunting.
