Our local weather folks have been saying that Monday (today) wouldn't be too bad. Maybe they put too much stock in that prediction.

Yep. We were supposed to be at a funeral in Watonga at 10:00 this morning. Didn't even try it.

Solid ice in Bartlesville this morning. We closed our office, too dangerous for staff to try to make it in. We'll try again tomorrow, a couple hours late... hopefully we'll be able to make it in.

This kind of weather isn't even a little unheard of here in February.
But I've seen plenty of times when the state and county have pretreated roads or got the sand trucks out early. It's kind of their job.

I'd rather have this variety of suckage though than what we had 10 years ago.

I just heard they shut down hwy 60 between pawhuska and Bartlesville hwy 11 between barnsdall and Skiatook and hwy 20 between Skiatook and hominy
