Thermal scopes sure have come a long way since 2000. In 2002, I got to test some in Hawaii. The target had to be stationary to track. Any movement and the imager took 2 seconds to catchup. Very frustrating but still cool as hell

Might have to get one for Xmas

Yes, but you don't have to spend $8k to get in the game. $2700-$3200 will get you a good unit. Coworkers are all biting the bullet after getting the bug. Lol.
I just flashed the firmware on my X-Sight 2 HD the other night. Got to get it out and play now but I got a lot more yotes than pigs. Debating on if I want to risk putting it on a shotgun since it's only rated for .308 recoil. :scratch:
