That would be awesome. She would like to meet my FG's!

So, does she not work? I was fearful that she might have a job that kept her from the lunches.

As for us, our medical appointments are almost done. I have a colonoscopy on Monday and wife has an MRI on January 2. After that, we are pretty much free until our new work gig kicks in for next year. That could be just a few weeks or a few months before going back on the road again.

I'll keep an eye on the upcoming lunches, and we'll see if we can plan to make one. I'll post here with regards to the date(s) that we might be able to make it.

Nothing-but I gave a lot to relatives. The wife and I have decided this is the last year we're doing the Christmas thing, it's sacrilegious commercialism. We have around 19 people to take care of this time of year and if the grandsons bring their girlfriends. Wow! Some other relatives are coming on the 1st so I bought a 7# prime rib to roast, I hope they like it, baked potatoes. prime rib and some sort of vegetable plus hot rolls. That ought to hold them off for awhile. Next year it'll be. fist full of twenties to hand out to each one, that'd be easier.
However, I'm glad some of you got what you wanted or can use and families that share the love. That's most important.

That's us. We don't have any younger children in the family anymore, so it has been gift cards for everybody for several years now.

My best Christmas ever! Wife discovered online shopping vs having to travel across the state for the perfect gift/color/ blah-blah for weeks. She could spend an hour on one rack of clothes. Gift cards and one thing to open. The kids were estacit because they could combine gift cards to get something really big since we coordinated about getting the right ones so they could combine.
Her stress level went from 100 to about a 5, so this holiday was much more enjoyable for me.
Already posted about the first Christmas with my side of the family earlier. We had Christmas with the other side yesterday at the nursing home where FIL and MIL are staying.
Perfect day until the tornado sirens went off in Broken Arrow and we had to find shelter in the hallway of the home. Missed us with minimal damage way east after the rotation went overhead without touching down at our location. Tremendous rain though.
