What is the most acceptable caliber for pocket carry?

I always carry my .45, I just prefer it. Really don't like to have less than a 9mm as a carry gun, but... for a pocket carry, the size of the 380's are hard to beat. I am loving my new XDs, you can't beat the size on it for a .45 ACP carry and this thing is engineered amazingly well.

If we're talking normal-sized pockets here, I carry the .32 ACP Seecamp. Somewhat bigger pockets will fit either my .32 or .380 Colt Pocket Hammerless autos.

I carry a 9mm myself. I would find it difficult to carry anything much bigger.

I started out with 45 but quickly realized even a compact gun is pretty heavy to carry on me or in my purse which has caused me to carry much less often. I decided long ago I needed to carry something smaller so i've been waiting on my Solo CDP

Im a smaller guy, so I prefer a .380. I carry the lcp and it is really comfortable!
