What is the most acceptable caliber for pocket carry?

just curious what you guys think is the best carry caliber , make sure you take into account the weight and the comfort of the gun!

I carry a 45, but it really depends on what you consider comfortable and what you feel confident in using. Most people prefer a 380 or a 9mm for carry from my experience of selling firearms.

well I am a .45 man myself , but as far as "pocket" carry and I mean inside the pants pocket? There arent many .45's that will be that comfortable inside the pants pocket , I think the .380 is the best , I also put the Makarov round because I have a cz-82 and have carried it in my pocket and it works but is a tad bit too heavy , I think the p64 (radom) would probably be a good fit for a Mak round!

.380 or a .38. Anything other than that you start getting into larger frames that are harder to slide into a pocket

For me it is the 9mm. The single stack is not to wide and bulky to conceal, and I don't feel like I am carrying a cinder block on my hip.

These are on sale at Buds Gun Shop right now. If I wasn't in the middle of an AR build with a kid on the way I might be looking at it. I don't have a pocket carry firearm and I'd like to get one at some point. Just not now.

For deep concealment or pocket carry I prefer the 9mm +P. For normal inside the waistband carry I like .357 sig or 10mm.
