My wife is the same way... I bought a rifle on the excuse "my wife would like this" once. Fortunately - or unfortunately, not sure which yet - I was right. If I say something like "I have this rifle..." she's quick to correct me.. "You mean, your WIFE has this rifle."!!
Did you buy that off of Phil? Or was you working the gate? Phil told me about a guy working the gate that bought a 686 snub as it came thru the door. A gun club no-no. 
Got it from Phil, stayed the weekend with him and Regina.
I offered him an XD-45 and $100 for it and he turned me down.
He claims that it's one of only 800 in exsistance.
Thats what this Texas Ranger told him, at the last show he was asking about $1,000.00 for his.
