I'll second the recommendation for burgers at Blake's Lot-a-burger. I get a double helping of green chilies. Breakfast is pretty good and affordable there also. There's a Blake's in nearly every town on I 40. Garcia's, Wicks (breakfast) & Cecilia's also good food on ABQ. Tecolata Cafe in Santa Fe is known for best breakfast in NM. Sorry I only mention food but I'm usually just passing through NM.
