I'm little bit confused about what types of shotgun Pellets are allowed for waterfowl hunting in the U.S? Anyone here have any information/knowledge about that.

Under Waterfowl Regulations, this link provides a specific link that describes the Federal regs on non-toxic shot.

Anything but lead. Steel has come light years since it's inception, nothing wrong with steel unless you're using an older gun that you can't use steel in.

Steel is the least expensive. Go UP in short size. 3" 12ga 1s has worked best for me on ducks.
Geese it is 3" Ts or BB, BBB, if i can't find T.
Recently moved up the 3 1/2". Bismuth is a great improvement over steel, but cost more. Bismuth 2s are a good choice.
