The straight pullback bolt action rifle from savage?

Anyone out there jump on one? Thoughts?
If they made it in 5.56/.223 with common removable mags.....hhhmmmm.

I just simply don't like that motion. But I can see it being useful for fast follow up shots while staying on target. Less movement of the rifle in ways that can take you off the glass.

I handle one few months ago the action didn't as smooth as I was hoping . Is not Blaser but then you are not paying Blaser prices.

PS. I cannot afford the Blaser. LOL

I had a Austrian made 17 hmr I donated to an auction to help a family whose son had cancer. It sold for 1700$. Someone must have loved it because 2 guys got into a bidding war over it.
I really liked the action but didnt shoot it enough . It was smooth and quick. Back on target much quicker than a bolt gun. 17 is a caliber that is a bit of a bastard for many uses
Oh and I paid only 600 for it
