20+ years in Europe (5x), the far East (2X) and a few other places (but I'd have to kill you if I told you where.)

followed by another 22+ years as a federal investigator. Now happily retired.

We had one of your units, 563d Ordnance Co., at Camp Pieri, Wiesbaden, W. Germany, where I was stationed with the 1/333d Field Artillery (LANCE), 1978-81. Returned to the States, left active duty, went to 1/160 FA, 45th IN Bde, OKARNG. Stayed there until 1984.

I was there in 1996. Were you there during the ice storm? The huge ice storm going door to door to people's homes to see if they were alive. Then cleaning the streets, homes, etc with inmates?

I think I missed that one. I escaped from Ft. Drum early Feb 1996. I think the ice storm was after that. I was, however, there for the microburst in 1995. The damage from that storm was impressive. It hit from North of Syracuse all the way to Ottawa, Ontario.
