Many years ago, I was told by a knowledgeable individual that any bullet smaller than a .38 Special would just bounce off of a windshield. Following that suggestion, nothing in our house (except a .22 Mag rifle for varmits) is less than a .38 Special. The wife has a S&W 642-2 revolver in .38 Special.
