YOu guys are silly. If this was odot working on it the road would have been closed from 7pm that night until 5am the next day. Those guys can crap patch a f up FAST.

With as much practice as odot seems to have doing patchwork I'd have to agree. It'll be done quick but the first good rain and bye bye patch.

Its not uncommon to find unexploded ordnance in Europe or Great Britain.

Don't know why this one made such a splash.

Yep, it happens quite often during construction or when water levels drop. Here's an article about a pair of WW2 aerial bombs that came to light when the level of the Rhine River dropped near Koblenz, Germany in 2011: http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-16018659
