Love the fungus any way it comes. Fresh on a salad or sauteed on a steak.
I'd forgotten about it, but the worst steak I've had in Oklahoma was at the Red Rock Canyon Grille in Norman. It was tender enough, but the flavor was not good, and I recall it being drowned in some kind of sauce that was also not good. Also, the music was way too loud and the acoustics were abysmal.
