Why not the teacher? Are pants inappropriate for a girl at a high school dance? Arguably fashion trends are set by teenagers. The clothes your wearing today were most likely inappropriate at one time or other. Same with haircuts and styles. Shoes n socks.
For many people "dressing up" and "Sunday best" is nothing more than clean clothes, combed hair and sometimes a shave.
Guys I am totally joking at the absurdity of kicking a gal out for wearing pants. I thought the sarcasm came through. I guess not.

You have to forgive Lurker he lost half an appendage and it screwed up his sarcasm meter. He is still an A+ gentleman. And has one hell of a sense of humor.
