Here's a light hearted thread.

http://www.cnn.com/2014/02/27/justice/california-school-american-flag-shirts/

A California school that stopped students from wearing American flag T-shirts on Cinco de Mayo didn't violate their constitutional rights, an appeals court ruled Thursday.
The school's approach, according to the appeals court, kept students safe in a climate of racial tension.
"The controversy and tension remained," a panel of judges from the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals said in their opinion, "but the school's actions presciently avoided an altercation."
School officials were worried about violence and disruption of school activities "and their response was tailored to the circumstance," the opinion said.
The case dates back to May 5, 2010, when the principal of Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, California, asked a group of students wearing American flag T-shirts to turn their shirts inside out or take them off.

The title of this thread does not describe what happened. The court did not ban the flag.

The school has a dress code. Mine did too. I hate dress codes, but they do not violate 1st amendmendt rights. Bunch of whiny, enitled kids and parents.

Sensationalism. I thought only the left used this hyperbole?

It was a ban on shirts displaying the Flag. I'm trying to draw out Info War. Don't spoil it...

You are be completely disingenuous and you know it. The kids were told they could wear nothing that displayed an American flag on it on May 5th so they wouldn't upset the Hispanics. That is not in their dress code it is only on May 5th. This is absolutely wrong, as far as I know this is still America!

So why in the United States should we be worried that the flag of the United States of America could cause racial tension on American soil?

If the little shitz love Mexico so much, pack them on a bus and send their asses home.
