Used Gun Prices?

OK Guys. Be honest and tell me what you think. Is it just me, or have prices of used guns over the last few months gotten rediculous? I monitor a few sites, always on the look-out for fair prices on different guns. Bit it seems lately, everyone is asking more than what I can buy them new, even junk. Are they really selling them?

Yep, prices are jacked up.

Someone may be paying them, but not me.

I don't know, for the past 4 years we've seen prices higher then the past. We are so close to it seeing as we are always looking that we tend to notice those that are overly expensive.

I have see some really good deals that I couldn't get to fast enough and with some of the wonderful sponsors on this site, NIB are being purchased daily at good prices.

There will always be those who buy high and sell even higher, however it won't get bad until August of this year... Just wait until the November Tulsa show and then lets see all the complaining about prices...

Yep, pretty darn high.

I have found several new guns cheaper than someone was asking for a used one. You gotta do your research.

Mostly at gun shows, but some of the websites have also.

May be a touch of pre-election jitters.
We should be seeing $4000 AR's again soon.

I have noticed some have held steady.

It doesnt really bother me, I have my price point for a purchase and I stick to it.

I do see that happening. Now and then I'll sell a firearm for a good price, just to buck the trend and in the hopes that someday someone will pass along a good deal to me
