Look at the photo. Some very nice old revolvers there! Nice collection.

From what I gather, someone told the cops that a 59 year old with a prior conviction had guns. So they county goes and gets a warrant based on a tip. They raided his trailer home swat style, from what I am hearing...They found drug paraphernalia and the guns and ammo shown in the picture. I tried to look the guy up, but found nothing on OSCN or OCDR. Wonder what the nature of his record is? I love how the media said he was "holed up" in his own home.

Sad thing is, the County is acting like they got a bunch of guns off the street. I sure hope they don't destroy any of those old revolvers.

We really need to take another look at this lifetime blanket felony prohibition against firearms. There are a lot of things that are a felony that have noting to do with one's propensity to commit a gun crime.

So Oklahoma County found an old hippy pothead hanging out watching TV in the trailer house, and took away his old single action revolvers. Damn, I can tell you I feel so much safer now. Next thing they will start looking for Willie Nelson.

Funny thing is, there were no drugs in the story. Just paraphernalia. I'm guessing a pot pipe.

We need to legalize this stuff. I'm sick to death of people being locked up and losing the RKBA for nothing more that a little weed. And, I'm not the only one who feels this way. Tax it and sell it at walgreens... or Byrons liquor warehouse. Take the criminal element out of it.

An anonymous tip led the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Department tactical team to a mobile home just outside of Harrah. Authorities were told a convicted felon was holed up inside, armed with an arsenal of weapons and ammunition.

Sheriff John Whetsel said, "We obtained a warrant based on that information and conducted a raid Wednesday."

Anybody else have a problem with that?
