I remember as a kid in elementary school having hearing test done and telling the person doing the test that my ears have a high pitched ringing that never goes away. Now 35 years later I still have ringing in my ears. Im sure the loud music as a teenager and the impact wrenches in my garage at home didn't help. Does anyone have any kind of remedy to reduce the ringing? I am willing to try almost anything.

There is supposed to be some new medical procedures that will. Other than that No. There is someting I hear advertised on the radio and tv but I forget what it's called. Mr. Doctor says it's snake oil. And I believe him.
I've had the same ringing as long as I can remember.
There are cases of ringing that have to do with a mineral or vitamin imbalnce I think.
But remember I got my medical degree and my jet pilots liscense both from the same Interworldwidenetweb site.

Tinnitus sucks. 24/7 ringing. Had it since forever. Even before I got into firearms.

I wonder if a majority of OSA suffers from tinnitus? Would make a good poll.

I have it and it's called Tinnitus. Mine is from years on the range in the Corps. Nothing you can do about it.

Yep, back in the old days, we'd blow the ear plugs off way too often. And no matter how politely one were to ask, the bad guys never wanted to give one a sec to put on hearing protection.
