Where are you from son? Salt and butter are the order if the day. Sweeting up your grits is a Yankee abomination.

Any kind of cereal in my morning must be infused with enough sweets to choke a hummingbird! Any other time of the day is a different story. The same goes for other foodstuffs. I love cornbread in milk for breakfast, but it's with butter only any other time of the day.

I rarely ever eat cereal. Maybe on like Saturday or Sunday morning when most everybody else is sleeping late, I might have a bowl of Frosted Flakes or one of the various Chex cereals.

No, my usual breakfast consists of Blue & Gold sausage and bacon and about three fresh country scrambled eggs (no store bought, chemical eggs here! :hellno:) with a splash of milk (for extra fluffiness) lots of coarse ground black pepper and two or three slices of American cheese melted in.

Sometimes I'll crumble up the sausage and bacon and mix it in with the eggs. My youngest daughter calls them 'boy scouts' because I told her about how I learned to make that while I was a boy scout back in the late 70s.

The cereal I remember most from when I was a kid was Quisp. Wow, how I loved that stuff! :w000t:

you should try plain yogurt, it's what I use and they tend to be fluffier than when I use milk. I use regular plain yogurt, not that Greek stuff, it tastes way too strong for the eggs

I cant see how anyone can stomach american cheese. The only time I can get that stuff down is on a burger. Give me cheddar or some other type of real cheese.
