While I've enjoyed the Droid by Motorola, the size of the X2 is a bit much, but the Razr is still too expensive to suit me.

I have the Droid4 and love the full QWERTY keyboard. . . My wife had the LG Enlighten and just upgraded to a Droid4 as well. Verizon still has it listed at 150.00 but they are not the only game in town, got it for 29.99 online http://wireless.newegg.com/template/simpleautocontent.aspx?pageid=12332&referringdomain=newegg showing up at 40.00 now there but Verizon is 100.00 so if you are looking at the Razr don't count it out.

Because we no longer use phones as phones anymore. Hell unlimited calling which would have been a cell phone dream 10 years ago is now the norm and as a family of 3 we barely use 240 minutes a month. We send text messages, more than call now it's unobtrusive. I have my work email configured on my phone so whether in a meeting where I am perceived as needed but not ancillary to the discussion I can keep up with email. I use voice to text transcription to take quick notes and always have my business and personal calendar available to me. Curious about something you just heard you can google it on the spot, social media quickly accessible, anf my phone can even work as my personal trainer when I go running. I can also remotely connect to my work network through my phone and have access to my servers that I am responsible for. And though the OP doesn't like iPhones the 5 has replaced carrying a point and shoot camera for us.

As an owner of the iphone 5 I have to say that the galaxy s4 takes better pictures by FAR. The iphone 5 takes good picture no doubt but I just came back from vacation a week an a half ago and my two friends with S4's were taking pictures that made me envious.

I havent seen this term in a long time, I thought a QWERTY keypad was basically an implied feature with todays smart phones. I think my grandmothers phone even has a full keypad.

It's good enough for me, I got tired of chasing the android bleeding edge, I like my MacBook Pro, iPad, and iPhone 5. Just like I am perfectly content with our Harley rather than the latest and greatest race replica uber machine. The OP could care less about Apple products and I am fine with that as well. To each their own.

Im kind of in the same boat. Androids are great but I dont care that much about phones, I usually just upgrade to every other iphone generation and it works for me.

I'm guessing he means physical.

I have different keyboards for different apps. But my favorite one puts the CTRL key where its supposed to be: that space normally stolen by the caps lock key to the left of "A"...

QWERTY was a publicity term for normal keyboard... As they are the first six letters on your keyboards. Blackberry still uses the term, but only because despite leading the world into the smartphone, they have been lagging way behind for a long time lol.

We bought 2 Samsung S4's in June, put 64gb microDS cards in them and felt good to be free of Apple's grip. Two weeks later...Too big, too complicated, too many features that ended up making life MORE difficult and had to turn them off. Returned them both on the 14th day and went back to our old iphone 4 models.

Hate the idea of blowing so much cash on this fall's iphone 5s, but need the 64gb for music and hope that the camera will catch up with the Samsung.

If you go with the Galaxy S4, Walmart had a no activation fee deal and their price was less than the ATT store. Talk to the ATT rep that covers whatever store you go to- They have all of the "Deals" listed and sometimes the WM staff doesn't know of them.

There's really just two players if you're talking about the best cell phone: HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4.

Both are great phones.

HTC One: lightweight, thin, feels nice in the hand (shaddap!) - But, non replaceable battery (like an iphone).
Sansung Galaxy S4: if you like bells and whistles, this is the one - But, more expensive.

Now, with that said, I have an iphone 5 because my work mandates that I have either an iphone or a windows phone (i.e. POS). I'll give this to the iphone, it's damned simple and clear. Now, if you you deal with mp3 files a lot, RUN FROM APPLE! They force you to use itunes which is a pain in the exit chute.
