spent time with 4/43 in Giessen and 8/43 in Giebelstadt/Saudi and Iraq. Wasnt 6/52 the sister hawk unit to 8/43 Patriot? I seem to remember they also had a battery in Wurzburg and at the Army air field at Giebelstadt.

Correct. HHB and Alpha (along with 69 ADA Brigade were in Wurzburg. Forget where the other two were. I think I visited C, 3/52 at some point, because my section chief had been stationed there at one point. Several folks from the old unit have visited, and we have a Facebook group where a couple of folks post articles from Germany. Leighton Barracks and all the others in Wurzburg have been turned back over to the Germans. Kind of sad to see the empty post.
The missile sites I worked at are now partially destroyed and vandalized according to the last pics I was able to find online through Google Earth. Those berms are still there though, glad I dont have to mow them any more. I rolled a riding lawn mower down the tower berm at HHB 4/43 once. After that it was all sling blades, all the time.

Agreed. Even though I was once accused of killing flies with a shotgun when it came to discipline...I would actually be recommending a Letter of Reprimand and the establishment of an Unfavorable Information File.
Harsh enough to get her attention and the UIF sticks around in her file long enough to establish a pattern of behavior if she doesn't turn the ship around. If she gets the message, the LOR and UIF can go away.....whereas most Art 15s can be a permanent stain (never offer an Art 15 for something you aren't prepared to go to a Courts Martial with, right?).
Seriously??? This isn't a big deal. Like has been said. It happens everyday on every base in every branch. Her mistake was bragging about it online. I won't lie I've done the "colors in 5, let's head inside" numerous times. But I've never ran inside at the last second to avoid it.
