The breeding goes a very long way, a lot further than you're aware. Dogs with genetic human aggression or with a predisposition that it's okay to be physical with a human at all exist because of people like you. I'm not saying that if you beat on a dog for half it's life and it rips your face off that you didn't deserve it, but like you say, dogs are smart enough to where they shouldn't be physical with a human based on a one time or random incident. If it does then regardless of whether it's the person's fault who bred it or the dogs fault, it shouldn't be allowed to breed or be in any kind of sensitive situations, bottom line.

I didn't say it was okay to be physical. I just understand it and know how to correct it if it's a single occurrence like he originally stated. I probably have as a firm grasp on genetics as anyone here if not more. People just need to understand why dogs act the way they do instead employing a violent knee jerk reaction. Then again. It's their dog.

I guess this story blew up on social media. I've got friends from the other side of the country sharing the dog owner's one sided Facebook posts about how their crazy neighbor shot their poor puppies.

Always more to the story I guess.

Knee jerk reactions against other humans based on the tiniest amount of information by self proclaimed intellectually superior humans though, that's perfectly fine.

I went back and re-read my first post. I suppose I can see where I wasn't clear about what I meant by "first offense". Nothing was or has been factually inaccurate though. Read what I said without injecting your own preconceived ideas about what went down.

You should tell him to contest the ticket. I happen to know that Judge Murdock in Choctaw is a big horse lover...
The Choctaw officer returned and voided the ticket the following night after he could take photos of the horse injuries in the daylight. So he doesn't have to go to court.

I took your words for face value, if someone says that's the first occurrence, then I take it to be the truth. I was obviously wrong to assume you were telling the complete truth. You also stated that you have a no tolerance policy, yet there's been multiple occurrences .... previous to the "first one".....when the dog got executed. However, if you want to be a politician about it and backpedal and add a good amount.... "yeah but I meant" BS, then whatever you have say to feel better. Maybe PM me and call me a few more names? LOL

I'll be honest, my default on any of these dog shooting stories is that the dog had it coming. It's not always correct but just like those people default to poor innocent puppy, I default to free range problem animal. But my experiences with dogs tend to have been negative. Or I'm just a heartless bastard.
