I will leave the Legal Advice to the Lawyers and Peace Officers here on OSA. My opinion is strong on this as I too have a daughter that has been approached numerous times while getting gas or even at Sonic by older males. I am watching with interest.

Yep. Was in a Dave n Busters a few years back when my daughter was only 10. There were 3 older guys, looked 18 ish, that were being kinda obnoxious but nothing too bad. Before long they started grabbin their junk and ooglin my daughter. Before I could even move, My dad was up and on those 3 like lightning. Luckily he was a reserve cop for San Jose PD, So he made the arrest and that was that.

Went through a class and the instructor had had a female student do exactly this. Popo caught the dude running down the street scared chitless. Said the "crazy *****" tried to light him. Cops called him up afterward and asked if he actually taught that in his class. He said "it worked didn't it?"

Well yeah that's true. Especially in Lawton. You can stand in a wealthy neighborhood in Lawton, go 2 blocks and be in the ghetto no matter what direction u go

I wasn't speculating with the gas hose.
Buddy and I got road raged on the way to work on some food plots after we passed some slow rollers. Fingers, etc. Blew it off
We got a mile or so ahead,pulled into the local gas station, and they pulled in to confront us.
When they came after me, (I had a gun on my person) I asked them what I posted previously. Pointed the gas pump nozzle at them, and had a hand in my pocket. (no zippo) It was a bluff that worked!
