I like it crispy edges with a soft middle and I spread brown sugar on it before I bake it.
Many years ago we would go low carb occasionally, and sweetie would wrap boneless, skinless chicken breasts in bacon and bake 'em in the oven with no other seasoning.This thread did get me to thinking though, I remember when I was a pup my mom would wrap hot dogs with bacon and put them in the oven for 'X' period. I remember them as being really good and I don't know why I haven't fixed them in all these years but I haven't.....maybe it's time I did.
This can be true for underdone fresh pork, but not for cured meats.Real crispy anything less will give you worms

Been there, done that. I’ll never let bacon go to waste.One time I over baked it in the oven to the point it was black. It was not good but it was still bacon so I ate all of it.
