This thread did get me to thinking though, I remember when I was a pup my mom would wrap hot dogs with bacon and put them in the oven for 'X' period. I remember them as being really good and I don't know why I haven't fixed them in all these years but I haven't.....maybe it's time I did.
Many years ago we would go low carb occasionally, and sweetie would wrap boneless, skinless chicken breasts in bacon and bake 'em in the oven with no other seasoning.

It's not worms in the typical sense some might be thinking (intestinal), it's trichinosis, or infestation of skeletal muscle with a parasite called the trichina worm. And as far as I know, I don't think there's been a confirmed case in the US in a number of decades.

So eat up!
