Anyone else watching You Only Live Twice and the glitches playing it over and over?
Sean Connery is to Bond like Johnny Weissmuller is Tarzan; like John Wayne is to Rooster Cogburn. But Daniel Craig, to me, is a very good James Bond too. He wipes out bad guys and then has a drink and a snack. He's got his demons but is cool as can be when driving real fast and shooting bad guys dead with one shot from his Walther PPK in .32ACP. Pierce Brosnobody and Roger Moore were to slick and suave to be the cold-stone killer a real 007 kinda guy has to be. And that pathetic George Lazarus dude? Gimme a break!
A woman as James Bond? No! Make her a new character, like 0012 or something, maybe his counter-part and stuff... a hot chick; maybe a little hard around the edges and so on, but James Bond? Never! Why ruin a good franchise? He's supposed to be a sexist, womanizing, martini drinking, Baccarat playing, tuxedo wearing secret agent. An Alpha male...a dying breed.
