I’ve heard too many stories about WLP and his spending of our money for his personal use. The latest I read was that he was being questioned about purchasing a multi-million dollar home (his eighth) in a high class gated community in the Houston area with NRA funds.

If that really is true, all properties need to be seized by the NRA and he needs to go.

Seth Barron rips NY AG's NRA suit as 'diversion attempt' to distract from 'bad ideas' of Cuomo, de Blasio
'If you wanted to short-circuit Republicans in November's election, you would go after the NRA,' Tucker Carlson says

Here we have the truth of why this is happening.

“Host Tucker Carlson theorized that James was targeting the NRA because of their support of President Trump, saying the organization "has, for decades, been the single most effective get-out-the-vote-late campaign operation the Republicans have.

"And this year, they were planning apparently to spend up to $70 million helping Republicans," Carlson added. "Now they won't. Why? Because they've been sued, so defensively, they will probably hold back a lot of that money for their legal defense.”

This action by the NY prosecutor is orchestrated by the DNC to prevent the NRA from using funds to get out to vote campaigns.
Big political move on their part.

I’m not happy with Wayne’s actions either but will say as a past 3 year Vice President of the Ponca gun club, and president for 4 years, the NRA is the only thing keeping that range open as they are the only option for insurance.
I researched other options trying to get away from the NRA finding the cheapest insurance was going to be about 10X what our policy currently costs from the NRA.
We have a junior rifle club that has been in existence since the 50’s that NRA grants support.
We have put on Women on Target programs supported by the NRA.
Its an organization that needs an overhaul, but is still the big dog in politics or else the NY prosecutors would be going after GOA.

NY Attorney General is filing a suit to dissolve the NRA following and 18 month “investigation” into their finances.

Love, hate, or indifferent about the NRA, this is one they can’t be allowed to win.

Sending off a renewal today.
I ain’t sending them another dime. They have done more to hurt the 2A than to help it. By you sending them money you are being part of the problem. I hope they go under. Then everyone can join the GOA. They actually fight for the 2A. But by all means, send your hard earned money to Wayne. I’m sure he needs another suit.

Are you sure that you are not part of the problem by supporting the GOA?

These issues have been discussed for a long time, on many gun forums. The NRA hasn't addressed any of it that I'm aware of. Complete arrogance, and shows how confident they are that members will continue to support them, 'cause they have no other choice.

Kinda reminds me of another political entity that keeps getting propped up, in spite of not living up to it's stated ideals.
That’s exactly what they are doing. Just look on here at the people saying what you just said. “We have no other option “. Bs is what I say to that. I don’t vote for republicans that have sold us out either. No matter what the consequences. The fact remains that even if Trump wins again, after that it’s over. The republicans will never win again. People might as well get ready for it. It’s we the people’s fault our country is the way it is. When people continue to vote for the “lesser of two evils” what do they expect to happen? I voted this last time but not for Inhoffe or lankford. The NRA has backed every single major piece of anti gun legislation ever introduced yet people still send them money and support them. They personally got the nics system created. Heck, Wayne even bragged about it in a video. This is exactly why the NRA will never change. And it’s the reason our country will never change. Because people will continue to support both thinking they are better than nothing.

How would I be part of the problem supporting the GOA? I am a life member of the NRA too. But I haven’t given them money in years. And I won’t. The money the NRA spends on the election is done to keep those that are loyal to Wayne in power. That’s it.

That is just your opinion. I am no longer a member of the NRA to protest some of the corruption and the hundreds of calls asking for money, but I do donate to the legal fund. The way you were talking it sounded like you were not even a member of the NRA, just the GOA.

Personally I am waiting to see the GOA file a bunch of lawsuits against anti-gun laws or political types. So far all I have heard from them is talk and donate to us.

GOA does a LOT. You should get on their mailing list or spend time on their website.
I've thought the same about the NRA; they want more of my money to help fight in the election, but I never see anything from it, except maybe a vid on Youtube once in a while.
