I'd quit while you are ahead.

So like TK, my wife works on the front lines of this deal. She's in a Neurotrauma ICU, in which her unit has the most negative pressure rooms, so they get all the COVID overflows. Ol' Teddy ain't my friend to say the least, but he's absolutely correct. My wife has to be in full dress with a capper just to care for someone that is just under investigation and yes... they do surgery on COVID patients. A LOT of traumas have come in her unit testing COVID positive.
does your wife agree that hospitals are at or over capacity from covid patients like is being reported currently? I have a female friend who is a respiratory therapist at one of the large hospitals in Tulsa area and she say's it BS and their census is so low that they terminated the contracts of all the traveling RT's and they aren't even getting over time

It’s already proven that this virus is a hoax the F-in Government forced down our throat. Anyone wearing a mask is an idiot IMO. As is anyone who’s afraid to get out and about.
Covid will not be spoken of again after the election. And how conveniently they suddenly have a vaccine ready just 2 weeks before election and that’s how they will end the panic after.

My 84 year old dad who is in a nursing home has congestive heart failure, cancer in his live and bones and he tested positive. He’s not at all sick. Feels tired he said and had a cough that lasted 3 days.
Covid is a joke.

Can't be that big a deal to wear a mask when you are around other people, some of whom the virus could be deadly, but they still have to get out some in public.

Grocery store I go to shop has senior hours two days a week and want people to wear masks. Young guy came in there a couple of weeks ago not wearing a mask and the manager threw him out. Got a big cheer from the senior shoppers that were supposed to be there.

You ever wonder how many you killed because you had the flu and went out?
Me neither.

Quit while I'm ahead of what ?

So, your wife would not wear the PPE if she was not forced to by they hospital huh ?

Not to the extent she has to nope. Not saying she would go in bare, but all the nurses on her unit are pretty callous to the fear of getting it now. Many have already had it even with these precautions.

Her unit is understaffed and they're using contract/traveling nurses. Not due to just Covid, but due to a significant increase in Traumas. I'd bet the overall census is not what it used to be for the whole hospital, but I'll verify it with her.
