I’ve wanted a Smith 325pd or night guard for a long time. I have and carry a 442, but I really prefer a hammer on a revolver.

Because 45 acp in that size of a revolver would make no sense. The cylinder would have to be chamfered and recessed. You’d need moon clips. The cost would be outrageous. Just my opinion.

Ok, this thread has got me thinking seriously about looking for a 325 night guard, and I did some studying. Though I love the size of a j frame, from my reading, the night guard on the n frame has pretty stiff recoil, so I’m figuring it would be almost unmanageable if a 45acp were to fit in a j frame. The opinions of the 325 night guard seems to vary greatly. A person either loves it or hates it, and the recoil seems to be the deciding factor.
