All you have to do is come get the wood when it's cut and split it if necessary.

Seeing as we might be moving into a house with a gas only fireplace it'd be only for our small outdoor fire pit. I'll get a measurement later today and get back to you, but it'll be even smaller than the 16 inches, probably half really.

The tree cutter guys have about 50 trees on the ground. Not cut up yet. Weather pending, they will clean this all up next week. Most of the trees were dead or near dead oak. I will cut 5 trees tomorrow that are alive...making way for a new garage. These are pin oak. They will make great firewood. If anyone wants some of this wood it is free. I'll cut it to your firewood length but you will have to do any splitting required. A lot of the wood is 4-6 inches in diameter and will make great firewood without any splitting. If you want the wood let me know, but I don't want to store it after next Saturday. I will start my burn piles to get rid of the wood next Sunday.

In a bit of a bind, we'll probably be moving in the next few months but I really don't want to have to move the firewood twice. We're looking to buy, but nothing is finalized as of yet.

Just keep this thread informed. Sadly I have a lot of trees that died or are dying from summer draught. There will likely be many more trees to cut.
