Recharging crystals is no more a ritual than recharging your cell phone.
Crystals may make her feel better and feel safe inside the home.

Many people feel safer with a cell phone and feel better chatting on it and can actually get "sick" without it.. Religion I would not go that far to call it that.
I am of no religion I just believe in things. I have attended many churches and listened to what they have to say.

I thank the Animals for giving their life when I harvest one for food.
Odd maybe but respectful for what has been given to me.

Does that ritual of strapping on your side arm to go in public to feel safe mean you are in some sort of odd religion.
Religion of the lead slingers.

I do not carry and do not need to carry to feel safe.

How about salt lamps people buy to add health benefits to their homes.
Not much different than crystals.

We as humans do not use enough of our brain powers to really know everything that is available at our finger tips.
To cancel someones beliefs out is really small minded and not the way I would think it needs to be done.

Not hurting anyone let it be.
Plus, there are a few, especially here in Oklahoma, that believe in things like 'dowsing' for water or lost items. Is it real or just hocus-pocus?

I almost hate to enter this conversation, but it didn't come from nothing. The current theory is that it was the primordial black hole, that released its energy, to form the current universe.
And where did the black hole come from? There will always be one step further back that can't be explained.
At some point everything in the physical universe came from nothing, IMO.

Sir, no one has said anything about cancelling her beliefs. I agree with you, as long as she is not hurting anyone via voodoo doll or anything, live and let live.
Reminds of a joke:
Wife calls from upstairs down to her husband: “Have you ever felt a sharp pain run down your back like someone is stabbing your likeness on a voodoo doll?”
Husband: “Um, no.”
Wife: “How ‘bout now?”

Maybe my wife has been talking to her?

The other day, she yelled at me from the other room, "Hey. Do you ever feel a sharp pain in your neck, like someone is sticking a pin in a voodoo doll that looks like you?"

I said, No... can't say that I have.

Long pause... then she says, "Okay. How about NOW?"

:pms2:
I feel pretty stupid. I just posted that myself without reading all the posts.
🤷🏻‍♂️

And you need a woman that not young enough to be your daughter…
nailed it. I will admit I still like to look, but no touchee!

These days, age of consent (for me) is 56. SWMBO and I celebrated our 39th anniversary earlier this month. And our youngest celebrates her 24th birthday later this month.
