I heard that, and that the new Pro Mags are getting good reviews too.
Man, I sure hope so. Just checked fleabay and factory mags are $50 and up for 10 rounders. Didn’t see any 20’s on there. A couple sellers had buy it now’s of $100 or more!

I found a couple places online that had the Ruger 10 rd mags closer to $39. The new Pro Mag 20rd are $15 at Academy. I will look for one 5 rd in case I ever try to hunt with it.

So 1 in 7 twist, what bullet weight is best?

This is a good article that sums most of the question up. The 1-7 twist is a good compromise and it was designed for the 62gr bullet. But at the end of the articles states that 55gr might give smaller groups.

Just keep in mind the 62 grain is forbidden at all the indoor ranges (I don't shoot at outdoor, so I have no idea about those). You want the 55 grain to be good.

Thanks Jason, I’ve only shot indoors a handful of times. This is something that I wasn’t aware of. Learn something every day.

Anything with a magnetic projectile is forbidden. H&H will allow steel cased with non magnetic projectiles, but all the others say no steel cased either.
