For those of you (well some of you anyhow, not all) that already know about this place, why does it seem to make you mad and why would you ever go back? You can't do anything about it.
Because if they ever go out of business some can feel that they had a part in it. Thats my story and Im sticking to it.

Had a dude at Gun World hand me an A-5 that was magazine loaded & the cutoff was engaged.

He opened the bolt and handed it to me. I pointed it at the floor and rolled it over and saw the brass. I told him it was loaded and he said, “no it’s not, I opened the action”. So, I rolled it back over, made sure the safety was on, put the butt on my thigh, dropped the cutoff lever and it rammed one into the chamber. I had the ejection port aimed at his counter top, and I grabbed the bolt and worked it really fast, throwing the shells onto and off his glass counter top until the bolt stayed open. I said, “yeah it was” and handed it back to him.

He got all excited with the other guy behind the counter and I left. I’ve never been back.

Morons.

My Gun World story.

I still haven’t been back and won’t go. Place is dangerous.

It's a total scam there. It insults my intelligence to walk in that store at this point. During the major gun crunch I was looking for a G44. I called around to several stores (except for Gun World) and found one in OKC that said they had it in stock. I'd never been to that store before, and haven't since. They weren't as astronomically high priced as Gun World, but they were a very close second. They wouldn't quote a price for the G44 over the phone. When I got there, they had it stickered for $679! It should be around $350 (if memory serves). I'll follow previous posters in this thread and won't disclose the name of the store, but steer clear of 6214 Northwest Expressway unless you want over-pay. Just saying....
I will add that their prices are bad, however on some hard to find items they have had them in stock. Firearm related mags and whatnot. Got dinged for about $5 more each on two hard to get mags. Magazines are normally $45 when available anywhere else...

I went there once, and then I had to go back cause I thought I had a nightmare. I thought Big Boys had the highest priced transfers at 50 bucks, which is a good way to keep people out of the store, but 135 at GW?

I bought a shotgun from a shop in Mustang back in the mid to late 90’s. I remember the name being Mashburn, but I could be wrong. Does anybody know what store was in Mustang, OK?

Never heard of Gun World before this thread, and I don’t think that I’ll be visiting anytime soon.
Mustang Pawn and Gun in Mustang on HWY 152????? Been in there a couple of times, some years ago. Did not buy anything. I don't recall being treated rudely.

I walked in GunWorld in Del City One.Time.Only. Said I'd never darken their doorway ever again.

Mashburn Arms, they had a store on N Penn & 12th Street in OKC, just about where Penn curves. I bought a few things there. My memory of the store was dark, gloomy, unattractive inside. I did not know they had another location.

I LOVE Gunworld. LOL. NO I’m not trolling either. When I go in I don’t even look at their guns. They might as well be permanently bolted to the walls. When I walk past their ammo it’s all I can do to keep a straight face, seriously. I go there for the gun range. Reasonably priced, air conditioned, great filtering system, electronic retrieval for the targets which will tell you exactly how far your target is away. The best thing, I’m almost always by myself when I’m shooting.
Also I understand Gunworld. From what I’ve been told the owner used to be a Sheriff. I was also told he won a huge lawsuit many years ago and could care less about making money. He would rather make a large profit off 1 gun than a small profit off 100 guns. I know this because years ago I talked to one of his new managers that told me he was going to make big changes at Gunworld. So the manager emailed me back after talking to the owner and said, they had a come to God meeting about the future of Gunworld and the owner told him nothing was going to change. The owner has no desire to be a high volume store. The guy caters to the police, who are there all the time, and that’s it.
