What I think is crazy is that they won't price match their own website so I had to buy item (grandkid's bicycle) online while still in the store mind you and then wait an hour for email saying it was ready for pickup from same store, but saved like $60. Sam Walton is probably doing somersaults in his grave!

I can tell you this lady was not a fan of their policy.

I told that story so I could tell this one, I thought all the walmarts had pretty much the same pricing all over. That apparently is not the case. Who knew?

I was taking a class in Norman with a lady from Purcell a few years ago, and we bumped into each other in the Purcell Walmarts one evening (my folks were living in Purcell at the time). She wasn’t hurt, but she did tell me that she wasn’t happy about the price difference between the Norman and Purcell Walmarts.

The things that people complain about when it comes to the Walmarts pretty much all happened after ol’ Sam had shuffled off this mortal coil.

Maybe if the folks who succeeded him had paid more attention to what he did and how he ran his business, fewer people would be complaining about it today…

I'm not sure why anyone shops there at all.....

Many do not have another option.

SNAP is like 150 a month per person, and funny thing about snap is they do NOT tell you that if you use coupons with in in OK you will pay tax off the amount of coupons you used, so like 10 dollars of coupons you will pay the state tax rate in cash on those.

Added they don't tell you that most all the stalls in farmers markets take SNAP, or that many butchers take it as well.

Did you know you can buy seeds with SNAP as well?

Walmart let's you stretch that dollar to its maximum with less trips too. Everything is there.

Exactly. I'm old enough to remember the American flags next to the price sticker on the shelf indicating that the product was American-made. Sam took pride in this, and advertised it.

I won't say I never buy from Wal-Mart, but I can tell you they don't see me very often. I don't like the way they treat vendors, I don't like the support for foreign made products, and I don't like the way they treat customers.

Never have been asked. I have seen them ask others. I own the receipt, doubt I’d show it. During Covid height a Best Buy employee made a mistake of putting his hand on my chest to keep me from walking in without a mask. It did not go well for him. The Police asked if I wanted to press charges as the store had it on film. He was hurting bad enough so no charges.

Generally they only check receipts if you have stuff in the basket that won’t fit in a bag.
