Wind come up in Perry today just got mowing finished, still hot but nothing like yesterday

I was out grading the driveway and out of nowhere the wind started blowing at 10 to 15 mph. Did that for about 3 minutes and died down again. It felt good. Probably the remnants of a thunderstorm falling apart somewhere.

I mowed wednesday around mid morning, finished around 12:30 I was dying.

I cooled down for about 30 minutes, realized I could not walk, could only take baby steps, I was not "feeling" right.

Took a shower, then sweated for an hour afterwords..

Then the headache and complete exhaustion set in, lasted the rest of the day and int the next day.

I can handle dry heat, but this humidity kills me, how the heck I worked the hay fields in this crap when I was a teenager is beyond me.

Well, for one thing, you were a teenager, and for another, it usually wasn’t nearly this humid when it was time to do hay (assuming you were doing it in Oklahoma). This is the first year in over a decade when I’m not doing any haying, and just going outside in this mess makes me almost glad about that.

True I am almost 60 now. Lot more of me as well LOL.

Yes the hay fields were here in Oklahoma, coal county mainly. First hay field job was the summer of 1980, ah yes what a time to be alive.

You really gotta be careful when it's that hot outside. Today has been downright pleasant compared to the last two days.

I spent several hours on the tractor today repairing the driveway. That's done...I'm done. It's time to sit in front of a fan for a while.

If the relative humidity is 100 percent (i.e., dewpoint temperature and actual air temperature are the same), this does NOT necessarily mean that precipitation will occur. It simply means that the maximum amount of moisture is in the air at the particular temperature the air is at.

Pretty rare, and you would usually be in fog or something.
