I don't see it but maybe I missed it. The headline is CNN learned of subpoenas hours before... However, I don't see it in the linked story.

More fake news by CNN or did I overlook the discussion of subpoenas?

Federal prosecutors have issued grand jury subpoenas as part of the ongoing probe of Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential election, according to a new report.

The subpoenas to associates of former national security adviser Michael Flynn are seeking business records, CNN said Tuesday.

CNN confirmed with people familiar with the matter that the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Alexandria, Va., issued the subpoenas in recent weeks.

The subpoenas are a significant escalation of the FBI’s broader investigation into possible ties between Russia and President Trump’s 2016 campaign.
The news of subpoenas comes on the same night President Trump fired FBI Director James Comey.

The White House said Comey was fired at the recommendation of the Justice Department, but critics of the administration are questioning whether the action is related to the FBI's probe of Russian election interference and any possible ties between Trump's campaign and Moscow.

Sources told CNN that the subpoenas went to associates who worked with Flynn on contracts following his firing as director of the Defense Intelligence Agency in 2014.

Investigators are reportedly examining possible wrongdoing with Flynn’s handling of payment disclosures from clients tied to foreign governments.

Officials briefed on the matter told CNN that the overseas governments include Russia and Turkey.

CNN reported it learned of the subpoenas hours before Trump’s firing of Comey on Tuesday.

Flynn is also facing a Pentagon investigation into foreign payments he received in 2015.

Some lawmakers have accused Flynn of breaking the law by taking money from Russia and Turkey without getting State Department approval first.

Flynn was fired in February amid revelations that he misled senior administration officials about past conversations with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak.

Controversy over Flynn’s exit has raised questions about how closely the retired Army lieutenant general was vetted by the then-president-elect’s transition team.

Here is what I find funny.

"This week"/ABC Nov 6, 2016, Podesta, slamming Comey for the letter that broke precedence and was over the advice of the leaders of the DOJ. According to Podesta, "it was unwarranted, and was a mistake"

Spectrum News, Oct 31, 2016 Shumer slammed comey for the same thing.

Nancy Pelosi did the same dammed thing.

Now you liberals love him because he got fired by Trump!

How do you want it?
The FBI ground troops hated Comey. They had evidence to jail clinton.

Even liberal eric holder slammed comey.

If Trump thinks the Russia story is bogus then why do people connected to it keep getting fired, blocked, or recused? Any fellow authoritarians on here want to reach up into your colon for a good excuse on why the Trump administration isnt anything but a perpetual dumpster fire at this point?

So much winning!!!!

Time for a trivia question!

Question: Who was the last president to fire a FBI Director?
Answer: William Jefferson Clinton

I damn sure don't remember such weeping and gnashing of teeth when he did it.

Bonus Question:
Who appointed the dude that Clinton fired?

Answer: Ronald Reagan

Why Trump? Its up to the DOJ, and the FBI to establish that.
Every leader of obama's intelligence agency's has said under oath there is no Russian collusion between Trump and the ruski's.

Yeah? How so? Nixon waited until after the subpoenas came out to fire people?

Oh, wait--so did Trump! Guess it's not as different as you want it to be.

I'll take No. 3 to win, with "there will be more indicted" to place, and "they all suck" to show.

Trump is not subject to an investigation...

Russia's involvement is.
