Good looking gun. It's getting harder to find those Six Series in very good shape, at least cosmetically.
First thing I would do with that revolver is shoot it. Alot. See if you need to change anything.
Then, in order for me, would be
- spring kit.
- grips - a Tyler t-grip would be perfect. This is my 1976 Police Service Six in 38Spl, with a t-grip-

Personally, re-coating it would be at the very bottom of the list. Underneath re-barreling it to a 22-250. As in - it will never happen to my guns.
My feelings are that the gun looks the way it does because of where it's been. I'm fine with that.
If it shoots well, the rest of it is unimportant.
